If you would like to have a dedicated special session on a particular topic (e.g. catch-and-release health and survival, angler engagement strategies), we are open to these proposals. To submit a proposal to host a special session, please send us a brief (500-word limit) describing the proposed special session. This should include the proposed session organisers, the names of potential speakers, topics and an indication of whether non-invited speakers, who submit appropriate abstracts, can be included in the session (i.e. whether it will be a closed or open session). Please note that these sessions should be open for all conference delegates to attend. While delegates that are invited to the special sessions, will still have to submit an abstract, we would like to gauge whether you have enough delegates who are interested in being a part of the proposed session.
